Some more progress on these two works. The carved piece is now blocked in with colour and the guineafowl colour study for a larger work of five birds is also progressing nicely. There is always something to learn in a piece of artwork I feel. I honestly think the more knowledge you have on such a subject the more you realise you have to learn and improve.
