The first gorilla and his immediate leafy environment roughed this morning, now to tidy it all up this afternoon, the time consuming bit is in the details and refinement. What with reading the book Gorillas In The Mist in the evening as I work on this piece. I can’t but wonder how these beautiful apes are.

Not a bad week in the studio, the hours and days evaporate but I’m happy with the progress this week of this mountain gorilla art work. Some more “blocking in” done with plenty of detailed touch up work to do yet.My best wishes to you all.
